The Chicago Bulls and San Antonio Spurs have agreed on a sign-and-trade deal that sends five-time All-Star guard DeMar DeRozan to Chicago.
Terms of the Deal
The Bulls will receive DeRozan, who signed a three-year, $85 million deal with Chicago.
In exchange, the Spurs will receive:
- Forward Thaddeus Young
- Forward Al-Farouq Aminu
- A 2025 first-round draft pick
- A 2022 second-round draft pick
DeRozan's Career and Legacy
DeRozan spent the first nine seasons of his career with the Toronto Raptors, where he became a perennial All-Star and one of the most respected players in the NBA.
He was traded to the Spurs in 2018, where he helped lead San Antonio to the playoffs in his two seasons with the team.
